The African Dream Academy Foundation in the USA supports the operation of African Dream Academy (ADA) in Liberia which operates a very high-quality, tuition-free school educating approximately 800 local Monrovian children who are taught in small class settings by well qualified educators. It is a dramatically better alternative than government sponsored schools which often have poorly qualified persons teaching very large classes for only half a day to children who cannot focus because there is no on site kitchen to prepare a meal. ADA's excellence is the result of Liberian Congressman Samuel Enders' commitment to create the quality of education that he experienced in the USA in the 1990s and the strong relationships he built with churches and charities in the USA before moving back to Liberia to establish ADA.

I have been to the African Dream Academy in 2014, 2018, and 2019 and have been impressed with the amount of improvements each and every time I've been there. The faculty is full of hardworking and passionate people. The number of people in the community that are positively impacted by this school continues to grow. This school is truly working to make a difference in Liberia, and in the world. Sam is an ever-giving leader. His dedication to the students, teachers, and community, knows no end!

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit ADA for two weeks. As a teacher I worked alongside the wonderful faculty and was impressed with their skills and enthusiasm for their job. The children at ADA are clearly inspired by their environment and there is evident admiration and respect between the faculty and students. Liberia needs many more schools like ADA. It is a shining example of possibility and best practices.

I visited ADA in March 2017 and was blown away with this amazing school. Sam Enders is passionate man who cares deeply about education and the children of Liberia. The teachers and administration are wonderful and go above and beyond to help give their students the best education possible! I hope to be able to return and watch as the school progresses and grows!

I had the privilege of meeting Sam Enders back in 2012 and was immediately inspired by his hard work and dedication to the African Dream Academy and helping the children of Liberia. In 2013, along with a group of educators, I visited ADA for the first time. It was incredible to see how ADA was changing the lives of these children. From the children, to the teachers and staff at ADA, the joy and love could be felt! It was evident that the staff was truly dedicated to help and change these children’s lives. Again in 2018, I was lucky enough to return back to ADA with another group of educators. To see how much ADA had grown and developed was truly incredible. The children are learning so much and growing. The teachers continue to work hard and help to improve the lives of their students. Sam Enders continues to help ADA and it’s community by educating and providing them with this wonderful environment filled with love and support. As a part of the ADA family from afar, I couldn’t be any more proud of Sam Enders and the African Dream Academy family and I cannot wait to visit again and see how much ADA continues to grow and change the lives of the children of Liberia!

I really can't speak highly enough of Sam Enders and The African Dream Academy. I have been lucky enough to have visited ADA as a volunteer twice, once in 2017 and again this year (2019). The school is full of happy children that are learning a lot. They are very engaged and are well cared for. The teachers are inspiring and clearly love their jobs and their students. I have volunteered in the classrooms and have also participated in professional development meetings with other volunteers and with the teachers from ADA. I have found everyone affiliated with the school to be extremely dedicated and hardworking. They are passionate about their work and are making a tremendous difference in the lives of the children who attend ADA. Rev. Enders has been a true inspiration to me. He is a selfless champion for the children of Liberia and a wonderful caring man. I will continue to joyfully watch the school grow and prosper much in part because of him.

Sam Enders has done a phenomenal job organizing and running the African Dream Academy. He has helped to provide a free education for impoverished children in Liberia, and has given selflessly of his time and resources to make a difference in the lives of the children and their families.

The African Dream Academy and Sam deserve our thanks, praise, and support.

I have been to African Dream Academy 6 times. Over 800 children from Nursery through 10th grade are being educated for free and provided with a hot lunch, uniform and transportation. The ADA Pediatric Health Clinic provides free healthcare to the community. The Vocational School has educated hundreds of women. Sam Enders so transformed that community that he was petitioned to run for Congress. An independent, he was elected with the biggest plurality in Liberia. Alas, all politicians have enemies and the negative reviews were written by his enemies with no truth to the comments.

I have a problem with the leadership of this organization because I feel like he is using the organization to solicit funds to support his political goals. Samuel Enders is also known for using his power to take people's properties from them as he is currently doing with the Abasi family who owns the property where he has his Clinic in Liberia. He has put that family in serious confusion since he made his interest known to purchase the property from them. Samuel Enders has taken almost 2 years to give the kids the money owed for the property just because he thinks he can get away with their vulnerability of being children who needs money to survive in Liberia. I advice that he stop fooling people as if he cares for children. If he does let him pay the Abasi family their money in full and stop taking advantage of the situation. Rumours have it that he has purchased the property but that's a lie because Samuel Enders is now running away from signing papers or evening answering calls from that family. Practice what you preach!

I find the first review vary hard to believe. Rev. Enders is one of the committed, hard working and sacrificial leaders i have ever met. He started ADA since 1998 and work without pay. 100% of funds go directly to the school.

He work and provide food, cloth, scholarships, and even transport kids. I am grateful to have such an amazing Liberia giving back to his country.

Rev. Please keep up the good work because without you my two children will not be in school. may God bless you.

The African Dream Academy has a good vision, but bad leadership principles. It is one thing to solicit money from the public to help children who are unfortunate, but it is bad for the leader of this organization to use such funds in a corrupt way. I think that those who plan to donate funds to the African Dream Academy should think twice because most Non-Profit organizations focus on Liberia were created out of greed by the leaders. It is wrong when the Leader of this organization Rev. Enders, use the organization money to establish businesses that would benefit himself........
