Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Homeless & Housing, Housing Support
Mission: AFC- Community Development Corporation's mission is to preserve and expand affordable housing and provide supportive services for low-income individuals and families; including those with special needs, the homeless, and those with physical and mental disabilities.
Results: Since the inception of our program, we have assisted over 200 individuals and families with case management/supportive services and 400 families with rental and utility assistance. Through our case management/ supportive services program, over 70 of our clients have succeeded from our supportive housing program and have become self-sustaining and productive entities within our communities. Some of these clients have received their Doctorates Degree, became entrepreneurs of successful businesses, and became first-time homeowners.
