Mission: Acts housing's mission is empowerment through homeownership.
Programs: Home rehab counseling - acts home rehab counseling staff represents families and individuals during coordination and execution of rehab plans. As experienced rehab professionals, staff support families in planning all repairs needed for decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable occupancy. In 2017, 35 families received these services.
real estate brokerage - acts' home sales staff represents families and individuals in real estate sales transactions. As licensed realtors, they coordinate all aspects of the executed sales contract in order to close. In 2017, 123 families were assisted in purchasing homes, many of which were formerly vacant, distressed foreclosures.
homebuyer counseling - homebuyer counselors support each family through one-on-one confidential sessions by creating an individualized road map on personal finances and credit management success. In 2017, 216 families were aided by our homebuyer counseling program.
