Mission: To support people who help feral cat communities in the washington, d. C. Area and conducting outreach activities that will educate the public on the humane treatment of animals in general and feral cats in particular.
Programs: The organization supports tina maddox in her efforts to care for homeless cats in the washington, d. C. Area. The organization utilizes the trap/neuter/return (tnr) program. Tnr reduces the number of animals who enter shelters and the number of animals living in the feral cat community and in the community at large. Tina cares for and provides the cats with three meals a day. To date, tina has been able to humanely trap and have treated the majority of the 30 cats currently living in her feral cat community using the resources of the tnr program at the washington humane society.
