Mission: The mission of our organization is to serve the community by providing business development through education; assist the community and further its growth by promoting, supporting, and encouraging education and entrepreneurship.
Programs: Educational classes were conducted for junior high and high school students, senior citizens, small business owners, and others in the community. Junior high and high school students were tutored in the core subject areas and given information concerning college and career choices. Senior citizens were taught about using internet and computer literacy. Small business owners were provided with classes that included marketing, financial planning, business planning writing, customer service, etc.
these funds were used for changing the face of math & science program for high school students and teachers. The year round program promoted math and science to high school students. It includes a summer program where students are taught by university professors and do research projects. Students received stipends and learned the latest in the areas of math & science careers.
