Mission: The mission of the Achor Center is to provide an exceptional, effective, innovative model of intervention for homeless women and women with children. Achor will provide a comprehensive strategy of support and education to promote economic independence and participation in mainstream society.The purpose of the Achor Center is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where participants are able to develop appropriate parenting and life skills by becoming regularly engaged in constructive activities that promote positive family and community lifestyles. Through services offered, we seek integration of independent, successful families back into the community.
