Warrick Dunn is a exemplary person who truly cares about young kids. It is so great to say that his nonprofit mirrors his passion and dedication to help others. I would recommend everyone visit Warrick Dunn's website to experience just how much his staff does for those in need.

I have the opportunity to volunteer for the Warrick Dunn foundation. I would help put the house together to be presented to the women that are going to receive them. I have seen how overwhelm these women can get when he present them the keys to their new house. I also give monthly donation to his foundation, so that he can continue to do the wonderful work that he does. I

I helped for the first time in staging the 100th home in
Atlanta, GA and was so impressed and awed with the professional staff, what was provided for the family, and Warrick's presentation. It will be an experience I will never forget and I plan to help again in the future.

I had the opportunity in 2009 to shop, assist in staging, and be present for the home presentation for recipient Tamaneka Butler. I must say not only was the experience rewarding but it gave me an insight on what the Warrick Dunn Foundation is truly about - helping single parents and their families. The most rewarding part of that whole process was not only getting to know the people who work so diligently behind the scenes but also to see a parent who has worked so hard to provide a better life for their child (ren) rewarded. Seeing the joy on the faces of that parent and their child (ren) as they get the realization that part of the struggle is over is something that I will never forget. The Warrick Dunn Foundation is a catalyst of change in a society that can sometimes forgets the single parent struggle. This Foundation not only offers hope to the recipient but also to their children. One must remember that in order to know that you have made a difference not only are we to look into the eyes of the adult, we must also look into the eyes of the child. I've looked in the eyes of both and I know that this foundation has made a difference.

My daughters & I were a recipient back in 2001 and I have to say that was an amazing blessing as well as Warrick being our Angel. I also had some opportunities to be a volunteer and do the same for other families. What the WDF does for single parents & children can not be replaced with anything greater.

As for me and my daughters this has allowed us to grow and develop into a stronger family with many great memories.

In 2010, my nonprofit Let The Kids Play requested to this exemplary foundation a donation for our silent auction. Within one week we were presented with several autographed items that were sold with enough raised to help 5 kids play a youth sport.

The best thing of all was not getting the donation but rather the way our organization was treated. We all felt like family and the continued passion for what they do and what we do oh so obvious.

It is not every day that we even get what we request and thankfully Warrick Dunn and his foundation truly are "Family" focused.

Thank you so much.

My son and I helped prepare a home for Home for the Holidays for a single parent and her children. It was probably the most fun and gratification we ever had during the holidays. Warrick and the staff of the Foundation are awesome. The staff attends to every detail. They also mobilize help from other nonprofits and their volunteers. Warrick turned over the keys to the family and thanked all the volunteers. I was impressed at how he talked with and thanked all of us. Not only is the home turned over in move-in and sit-down-and-eat condition, but each bedroom is reflective of the occupant's favorite activities and colors.

I will never forget the first time I met Warrick Dunn. He came to the Atlanta Falcons Football Club as a Free Agent to meet with Head Coach Dan Reeves in 2002. He had to walk through my office to get to Coach Reeves' office and as he got to his door, he backed up, came to my desk, extended his hand and said "I'm Warrick Dunn". From that day, he has been one of my all time favorite Atlanta Falcons players! For the next 6 years I was able to experience up close what a marvelous young man he was and still is! He is everything a mother would want in a son and I have always thought his mother is looking down from heaven and smiling at his many accomplishments both on and off the football field! One of my saddest days was when he was released from the Falcons, but I am oh so happy now that he is back as a limited partner with us.

The work that the Warrick Dunn Family Foundation has done over the years in allowing 101 single parents to own their own home speaks for itself. I am proud to say that I am a supporter and donor to the Warrick Dunn Family Foundation, and look forward to the day I retire from the Falcons so that I can become a volunteer for this great young man's Foundation!

Working as a volunteer for the Warrick Dunn Family Foundation has been a very rewarding experience. To realize how much thought and consideration that goes into putting each house together for the reciepients, is no simple task. There is a lot of attention to detail as to what each family member likes in the way of colors and styles. Working with the group in each phase, from buying the products to furnish a house to actually putting it all together in the house and then the ultimate reward of watching the recipient find out they have been selected. It brings tears to my eyes each time I think of how many people's lives Warrick Dunn has touched. He's a very special person and I'm honored to have worked for his foundation.

Our family has donated money and volunteered for this wonderful organization. We have also had the opportunity to witness the Homes for the Holidays presentation. The presentation is amazing and the families are so overwhelmed by the kindness of Warrick Dunn and his amazing staff.
We will continue to support the Warrick Dunn Family Foundation!

I haved worked as a volunteer for this wonderful foundation for the last couple of years. Initially, I became involved because of the amazing person I had found Mr. Dunn to be. The way he was honoring his mother by giving back was an inspiration to me and my efforts in dealing with the then recent loss of my mother. Participating in preparing a home for a family who may otherwise not know this amazing blessing, is awesome. Myself, along with my sister and brother-in-law, were happy to prepare this home, from setting up furniture to things as simple as placing dishes in the cabinets. The most rewarding moment is being present as Mr. Dunn hands the keys over to a well deserving family! I look forward to continuing my volunteer services with the Warrick Dunn Family Foundation.
