Programs: Residential services are provided in various community settings including a group home, two houses and individual homes/apartments for individuals with disabilities. Services are provided to develop, maintain and improve independent living skills, community intergration skills and other skills needed to live as independently as possible. Services are provided on a daily or hourly basis depending on the individual's needs. work activity services are provided in day programs including a workshop and a community store. Services are provided to develop prevocational skills, vocational skills and other skills for individuals with disabilities to develop, maintain and improve work skills and work-related skills. Individuals involved in paid work opportunities receive pay according to the department of labor laws and requirements. Program goals are carried out by trained staff who provide the needed supervision, training, support and assistance to improve employability and related skills according to the needs, choices and abilities of persons served. 36 persons served during this fiscal year.
day habilitation services are provided in a day program for individuals with disabilities to develop, maintain and improve non-work related skills in areas of daily living, socialization, communication, safety, community use, transportation, leisure, self-management, self-esteem and other skills to improve independent functioning and quality of life. A wide variety of activities, experiences and community outings are used. Programs are carried out by trained staff who provide the needed supervision, training, support and assistance according to the needs, choices and abilities of persons served. 37 persons served during this fiscal year.
