Very professional, well organized, nonprofit that provides the children & the volunteers unforgettable experiences. Donations are used on items that benefit the children & the staff to the fullest. Holy Cloyd herself is an amazing leader. She manages to bring new groups of volunteers to Ghana every year & allows them to spend time getting to know the children & interact with them. Absolutely an unforgettable experience.
I went to Ghana in February of 2017 with Acacia Shade as part of a women’s service trip and had one of the best experiences of my life. We worked directly with special needs kids in both the orphanage and as part of community outreach. Acacia Shade is helping to bring much needed awareness of services available to special needs children within communities as well as helping to facilitate the integration of special needs children into local schools. I applaud the great work they are doing!
I went to Ghana to see for myself the work Acacia Shade was doing. I was amazed at the things that were happening there. A house had been built for these disabled children that was staffed by sweet and competent nannies. The children are learning skills and are being intergrated with other children. Since my visit a school has been built. Amazing things are going on thru the work of thus charity
