Mission: Abt is organized to 1)encourage & develop young talent, 2)educate as well as entertain audiences, 3)promote & develop a love of the art,4)promote educational opportunities for area dancers & 5)provide scholarship assistance for continued education for company dancers.
Programs: Our mission: to provide all students with the skills they need to enjoy, appreciate,and excel in the art of dance for a lifetime. Abilene ballet theatre performs dance productions. These productions are performed for the public who purchase tickets and also free for some students from public and private schools in the abilene and surrounding area. The artistic directors, dancers, and board of directors volunteer their services and do not receive any compensation, contributions to employee benefit plans, deferred compensation or any expense account or other allowances.
