Mission: A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child envisions a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community.

Programs: Through our cost-free store, satellite resource centers and community distributions, we ensure families have their basic needs met—clothing, hygiene items, food, diapers, and more—all provided with dignity, so families feel empowered, not just supported. Our Enrichment programs give children access to sports, arts and educational activities, leveling the playing field by providing equipment, instruments and resources that allow them to participate fully alongside their peers. Each year, we help thousands of children start school with brand-new backpacks filled with supplies, and during the holidays, we bring joy to families by ensuring every child receives a gift—because every child deserves to feel seen and celebrated. For young adults, our workforce readiness program builds foundational skills, empowering them to step confidently into their future. With the dedication of over 7,000 volunteers and partnerships with more than 300 agencies, we work together to create a stronger, more connected community.
