Mission: To provide support to established children's charities that are predominantly medical and social in nature. Also, to fund research that trys to understand and cure cancers and other catastrophic diseases that affect children.
Programs: The a. F best foundation raises funds through an annual one-day golf tournament to provide funds for donations to organizations that meet foundation's mission as described on line 1 above. This year, the a. F. Best foundation added a second golf tournement called "a family thing", a three day/two night family-centric fundraising event to produce additional funds for organizational donations. Donations were made to 17 organizations during the current year.
