Mission: To engage the business and industry community in efforts to modernize nebraska's transportation infrastructure systems.
Programs: In 2017, 4 lanes 4 nebraska operated as an advocacy coalition of business and industry interests for purposes of pressing state action on finishing the nebraska expressway system. Communities of interest were engaged and encouraged to join the 4 lanes 4 nebraska coalition. The board of directors expanded to include business and industry leaders across the state. 4 lanes 4 nebraska employed a registered lobbyist to help pursue transportation policy reforms. 4 lanes 4 nebraska testified on behalf of proposed legislation and conducted public relations and grassroots lobbying on desired policy change. New transportation initiatives and policies were approved by the legislature and governor. Communities across the state will benefit from transportation projects that will now begin earlier than previously possible.
