Mission: The organization is the leading advocate & resource for health care providers that serve their communities through participation in the 340b drug discount program. Every year, the program helps millions of underserved americans receive discounted. . . Continued on schedule o. . . Or free medications & lifesaving clinical services.
Programs: Education: the education program has three components - general education, technical assistance, and communication. General education-provide educational support to members through webinars, local roundtables, conferences, and online materials on best practices and good stewardship. Technical assistance-provide one-on-one advice to members on how to stay in compliance with the 340b program and remain up to date on regulatory matters. Communication-keep our members aprised of 340b news and developments through direct emails, electronic bulletins, and the drug discount monitor newsletter.
advocacy:advocate on federal legislative and regulatory issues related to drug pricing and other pharmacy and hospital matters affecting members. Particular focus on issues related to the public health service's 340b drug discount program.
