I recently attended a fundraising event at Stan & Joe's Saloon in Annapolis, MD. The team members were courteous and helpful when explaining their "mission" -- to provide financial aid to wounded veterans, both locally and nationally. They weren't at all pushy when asking for donations, and seemed to genuinely care about the work they do. I'll be keeping my eye out for future charity races and benefits!! Good Luck you guys!!

185 for Heroes is truly an honest and compassionate organization, and I am honored to have been able to help in the past as a volunteer. The first year started with two service members who wanted to give back to the wounded veterans and their families who have given so much to this country. It has grown so much and even still ensures that all donations go directly to those who have sacrificed for others. 185 for Heroes is completely dedicated to wounded veterans and goes above and beyond to support them and their families.

This organization has grown from a two-man team to a whole network of committed volunteers and supporters over the past 5 years. Those years have witnessed so much hard work, so many lessons learned, and everything from small setbacks to huge triumphs. The community of veterans 185 for Heroes seeks to serve has given this organization so much to be thankful for, and so much to keep working for. To be at a stage where, within just the first year of attaining 501(c)(3) status, we can already launch our own independent programs to directly serve our wounded heroes is an extraordinary accomplishment, one that carries the extraordinary honor and pleasure of giving back even more to those who serve and protect us!

185 for Heroes is an amazing non-profit organization that serves wounded warriors. I am honored to have been a part of wounded warriors since it started back in 2010. The board of members are some of the most caring and amazing people I have every met. This truly is an amazing cause and I know every penny that I donate supports our wounded warriors.

This nonprofit was started by service members so who better to serve other service members. The entire board consists of some of the most caring people I know. They have full time jobs and make time to make this nonprofit not just work but grow. The more they grow the more service members they can support and honor. This is the only military oriented nonprofit I will donate to because I know my donation is used to support the service members they support. Rock on 185 for Heroes! Perhaps I can run for you one year. :)
