Causes: Environment, Environmental Education, Land Resources Conservation
Mission: The Consevancy has three major goals:The preservation of agricultural land and natural resources by granting easements on properties.To create a premier demonstration site for good conservation and land stewardship practices at our flagship farm - Mt Pleasant.To provide outdoor environmental educational opportunites for the whole community.
Programs: Howard county conservancy is engaged in the preservation of rural and agricultural resources. The conservancy also provides educational programs designed to increase awareness and appreciation for our land resources.
