Mission: Chesapeake Cats & Dogs (CCAD) is a no-kill animal shelter and dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed, or surrendered. Through our community outreach events around this region, we teach and encourage responsible pet ownership and pet population control. Our all-volunteer organization works diligently to locate loving and responsible owners who wish to make their new pets members of their family—forever! CCAD remains committed to helping end the needless overpopulation, death, abuse, and neglect of dogs and cats in our area and improving their lives as well as their new owners.
Results: Chesapeake Cats and Dogs (CCAD) is a no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed, or surrendered. Formed in 2006, our organization consists of a group of dedicated volunteers working to achieve our goal of providing a life of love and dignity to all animals and have successfully placed more than 2,000 homeless cats and dogs in loving homes.
