Mission: The Staten Island - National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is a subsidiary of the National Council of Negro Women. The mission is to lead, advocate for, and empower women of African descent, their children, and their families.
Results: NCNW-SI was chartered in 1968. Programs have been impactful across Staten Island by raising awareness of cultural and historical aspects of the Black community. Enhancing health outcomes through health and wellness events and improving academic success through mentoring and public speaking capacity building for youth.
