Mission: Maddie & friends holds monthly spay/neuter clinics for cats through the delaware spca and the atlantic county spca mobile unit. Approximately 50 cats are sterilized at each clinic. Maddie & friends also provides low cost spay/neuter assistance through our veterinarian - and provides vet care for animals in our care, waiting for adoption, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, medications, various other emergency and non emergency surgeries, etc.
Programs: Maddie & friends holds monthly spay/neuter clinics for cats at a reduced rate, which allows pet owners to afford the service of having their pet spayed at a cost much more affordable to them. Maddie & friends spay/neuters approximately 50 cats per clinic and between clinics has cats spay/neutered using our local veterinarian. We also support people in the community caring for feral colonies by providing food and other supplies to those unable to afford such supplies. We also through the salem county office of corrections, supply materials so the inmates can make feral houses for us, which are distributed to community members caring for cat colonies.
Robin has endless energy and compassion for animals large and small. The love and time she and staff dedicate to foster, nurture and help with injuries and recovery is such a large asset to the community. The endless line if kittens both healthy and sickly that cross her doorstep never stops but she faces each case with strength and knowledge. She has desexed so many fur babies which has such a positive impact. She deserves this recognition. Bless you Maddie and Friends.
I have had the pleasure of several cats deciding to show up at my home over the years. None of them had been desexed. I came upon Maddie and Friends and have used Robin and her staff to neuter every cat. There has never been a complication. They are compassionate and caring. The price is very very reasonable and they treat each cat like a family member. I would not hesitate to have Maddie take care of any animal that chooses to find my doorstep. And it is wonderful feeling that I have helped in the cat overpopulation to avoid more kittens in the shelters. Robin deserves such recognition. If one lady can make such a difference imagine if we all pitched in a little more. Thank you Robin.
