Mission: The richland players serve the mid-columbia region by entertaining, inspiring, and educating audiences and artists through the shared experience of live theatre.
Programs: The richland players produce five live theatre productions per season, with eight performances each. In partnership with the non-profit united blind, the visually-impaired can enjoy narrated performances. Hearing-impaired audiences enjoy performances with the assistance of a free system that provides special receivers.
For some years I had thought it might be fun to try acting. When an opportunity presented itself to be in a Richland Players production, I took it and have never looked back. I've been in three plays and am now a member of the Board of Directors, as well as being the Players' historian. I've met some great new friends and I am helping to keep the history of this 75 year old theatre group alive. Plus, it's a good feeling to know I am helping to provide quality entertainment to our community.
