Mission: In flight, inc. Provides services to individuals with developmental disabilites within dutchess, ulster, columbia and greene counties. The needs we address include service coordination, residential habilitation, day habilitation, and respite services and are provided for at an individual's home or at a group home. Our goals are to promote individualized outcomes that do the following: 1. Maximize the development of skills and behavior necessary to be a participating member of the individual's home and community, including consideration of lifelong planning. 2. Include activities relevant to the development of self and self-awareness as well as the process of developing meaningful personal relationships with individuals who are disabled and non-disabled. 3. Programs: Individual residential alternative homes: in flight offers adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in individual or small-group living arrangements in the community. The residences provide a home-like environment for our clients, so they may be helped to experience living independently, making meaningful choices, communicate freely and receive effective services.
