In such a short amount of time, Sage Mountain has been already made a major impact on the community, and started opening people's eyes to perspectives they haven't considered before. They work hard on the sanctuary providing the best possible care and support for the animals, and they are fantastic at working with volunteers who want to help or just meet the animal residents. Beyond the sanctuary itself, Sage Mountain has been tireless working to reach out to the Park City community to get people involved and empowering the community to address the ethics of food and animal agriculture.

Organizations like Sage Mountain are exactly what the world needs right now. Their message is one of compassion, hope, and peace, and they are dedicated to bringing about as much positive change in the world as they can possibly muster. Lauren and Dave are two of the most kind, welcoming people I know, and their love for the animals they care for and passion for their mission is clearly evident.
The sanctuary itself is beautifully situated and lovingly tended to, and the animals of course are the heart of their work. They have pulled out all the stops to give their resident animals a comfortable home to live out the rest of their lives in peace, and where the animals can stand as ambassadors to the community and beyond for farmed animals suffering everywhere.
Sage Mountain's vision is beautiful and grand, but based on the amazing work they've accomplished already, I have no doubt they will succeed!
This is a wonderful sanctuary, the owners dedicate their lives to these animals but not just at the sanctuary, these animals stand as examples which the sanctuary owners use to share info to the community and world about the benefits of plant based, cruelty free living. I have been to the sanctuary and can tell the animals are loved and at peace there.
My family and I had such a wonderful experience volunteering for Sage Mountain. It was so great to meet all of the animals and observe all of their unique personalities! My 5 year old son had a blast and he hasn't stopped talking about his favorite sheep, Martin. The pigs, Wilma Jean and Ponyboy are hilarious and definitely LARGE and IN CHARGE! Lauren and Dave were so wonderful and I couldn't think more highly of them and all that they are doing for animals, people, the environment and our world. I look forward to my next opportunity to get involved and spend time with such wonderful people and animals. Our family arranged a special visit to Sage Mountain Sanctuary for my husband's birthday. Lauren and Dave were so accommodating and welcoming. It was everything we had hoped. An absolutely stunning location, with the happiest and most beautiful Sanctuary residents. Dave spent a good deal of time explaining their stories and discussing the sanctuary's mission. The animals are clearly happy and well cared for and the sanctuary is clean and in immaculate repair. We can't wait to go back and volunteer!

Sage Mountain is a huge part of my switch to veganism. Their sanctuary, their animals, and their mission are so pure and good - the epitome of how I think about the vegan movement now. The owners are two truly incredible human beings.

The folks at Sage Mountain work tirelessly and with dedication to people and animals in Park City, Utah to create thoughtful vegan advocacy. I have really enjoyed the events that Sage Mountain has put on. They are much more than an animal sanctuary - they put their money where their mouth is and get out into the community to educate people about the truth of factory farmed animals and how to switch to a plant based diet. I admire how they strive to educate because that's where the real change will come and it's helped me see things from a better perspective. A great group of positive, compassionate individuals!

This small group has a huge impact. I've had the best time volunteering with them to not only help out with their adorable and well cared for rescued farm animals, but also in their community outreach in both Park City and beyond. You couldn't ask for a better nonprofit.
