Review for Ching Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, Herriman, UT, USA
As recent transplants to the Salt Lake City area, looking for a way to be involved in our new community, Ching Farm Sanctuary and its residents, human and animal, has quickly become like family. There is a team of regular, close knit volunteers, with many local groups also being welcomed to the farm to give service. Our family volunteers together on Saturdays and I am fortunate enough to be able to also volunteer during the week. I always leave feeling as though I was the one receiving the service, rather than giving it. Every resident at Ching is treated with love and respect, often having come to the sanctuary through neglect, abandonment or abuse. Others are beloved family animals that had to be surrendered for various reasons. Each is loved and cared for equally by the dedicated owners of Ching Farm Sanctuary. No one takes a salary at Ching and as a 501-3c non profit, they rely solely on donations for the care of the animals and the up keep of the farm. In the Spring and Summer, educational tours and children's programs are available. Please consider donating time or funds to allow the animals their best future.
Review for Sage Mountain, Park City, UT, USA
Our family arranged a special visit to Sage Mountain Sanctuary for my husband's birthday. Lauren and Dave were so accommodating and welcoming. It was everything we had hoped. An absolutely stunning location, with the happiest and most beautiful Sanctuary residents. Dave spent a good deal of time explaining their stories and discussing the sanctuary's mission. The animals are clearly happy and well cared for and the sanctuary is clean and in immaculate repair. We can't wait to go back and volunteer!
We loved meeting you and your family! The animals had such a great time and they LOVED the special treats you brought for them. Thank you so much!
