Causes: Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection
Mission: To provide the best facilities and care for rescued grauer's gorillas in the democratic republic of congo while working alongside local communities to ensure gorilla survival in the wild.
Programs: Rehabilitation, education, & research: grauer's gorillas only live in eastern democratic republic of congo (drc) and are critically endangered due to widespread poaching and habitat destruction, threats which have been amplified by decades of insecurity in the region. Grace is committed to supporting high-quality sanctuary care for gorillas rescued from poachers in order to provide for their welfare and promote rehabilitation so reintroduction back into the wild is possible. Grace also supports local education initiatives that promote the understanding of and appreciation for wildlife conservation in drc.
