I only became familiar with CAGNO in the past year. I am amazed at the many events they host and how the proceeds do go for cancer patients, I had a friend recently who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, He was also going through financial difficulties. He was reluctant to apply because he said they did nothing for his mom. I informed him he will get help from this group. So he filed the paperwork. Unfortunately he had lung infection that set in and he passed before he could take advantage of the services tat are offered...such as transportation, help with the cost of medicine and and supplies he might have need, plus much more. I, too, am a cancer survivor, and am on the committee for the TuTu Trot being held in Washington Parish. The support they give to us is amazing, its guidance and resources. I believe this will be successful as our first endevour and urge the public to look into CAGNO they are an unselfish group that aids all cancer victims in the Greater New Orleans area which also includes Bogalusa. Thanks for all you are achieving in Washington Parish. I AM A BELIEVER.
