I am very familiar with the us medical mission inc and the fantastic work that they undertake as a nonprofit organization. They continue to serve the underprivileged and the unreachable people on the African continent and some Caribbean islands who suffer because they have no access to healthcare.a lot of times this service is not even affordable, because of the mission ,these people get the benefit of some kind of medical treatment, which could be life changing .

I have been privileged to see the team's works, initiatives and impact. This has been on Year after Year where the less privileged of the community are provided medical care freely. The team is dedicated and one can see the smiles, the relief, and the courage to get going in life by the beneficiaries who have been through twists and turns. To those who have been unable to afford any form of care at all, buy their meds, its like a new lease on life. This year orphanages were included in the channel of beneficiaries, which is totally awesome. Kudos to the entire team!

US Medical Mission has over the years done numerous medical interventions in Nigeria year after year expanding reach into hinterlands espececially for the vulnerable and poor within the society . This has impacted more lives than imagined especially as most cannot afford the medical care. A lot of eductional session were also done on preventive health care, baseline check ups that brought awareness of potential health challenges if not well managed.

In the past month, Kenya also had this experience.

To God be the glory. I got to know about the outreach program on health care that the US Medical Mission are doing in Nigeria for the past five or six years or here about when they came to my own Town Oro in Kwara State.

Their aims and objectives which based on volunteering health care service to the people in my Town and the surrounding towns is great and super. They came all the way from the US to give free medical treatments/assistants to both the elderly, the children and the sick in general.

This act of kindness to humanity is beyond recompense. On a yearly basis, they came to bring relieve and put smile on many faces who could not afford hospital bills in any form, they as well gives free meditations after the treatment.

Their mission and efforts to save souls have brought unity among the surrounding villages.

We pray that the good Lord will continue to bless and strengthen both the doctors, the nurses, and all the volunteers from various levels of work, who for the love of humanity leaves their works and comfort zones to come all the way to Nigeria to heal and cure thousands of less privileged. We appreciate them all.

The Oro Community, Kwara State, expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the donors and Medical Mission Inc. team for their annual visit to our community. Your team of skilled doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and volunteers provided free medical health services to patients from our town and surrounding suburbs. Your selfless efforts have enabled many to receive vital medical care and know their health status.
We humbly appeal for more opportunities and additional days for our people to benefit from your kindness.
To our donors, we extend our sincerest appreciation for your philanthropy and love for the less privileged. May God reward you abundantly for your good deeds.

Sharing my story has been emotional for me and has taken some time to come.

As the local contact and proud Nigerian Coordinator of USMM inc, a responsibility that I humbly accepted, because of the enormous impact the mission made on Nigerians in rural communities in 2017.

The group of volunteers from the US that I met and had the responsibility of ensuring had a good experience because it was the first time out of the US for most of them gave me a new perspective to the values humans have for other humans.

That said 2018 and 2019 missions to Nigeria by volunteers of USMM inc gave me additional opportunity to expand the explorative experience of the volunteers to see cultural and traditional landmarks that added to lifetime memorable events that were outside of the what volunteers bargained for.

I look forward to doing this year in year out - I know 2020 is a difficult year, because of COVID 19. God willing we will get back to doing good for the less privilege in 2021.

Best regards to all donors and volunteers!

The consistent and concerted effort of US Medical Mission is to their credit. From those who go abroad and have an active role in attending to those in need to those behind the scenes who volunteer and organize supplies used in these operations, there is an essence of determination and concern exhibited, which is commendable. US Medical Mission continues to push itself and ensure a high quality of outreach that I hope continues and expands to other missions.

US Medical Mission Inc, is an amazing non-profit organization. I respect the organizers' initiative, passion, and drive for this line of work. Being able to provide medical services for free to individuals in need is commendable. Being a person of service is by far one of the most admirable traits one can have. With that being said, I am grateful to have the opportunity to accompany the organizers and the other volunteers on this mission. I have longed for years to partake in such a mission, so when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance of embarking on such a journey.

The trip is almost here, and I am thoroughly excited. Thank you for this opportunity.

Through snow, storm and hurricane, USMMG will push through to assist those in need. I know as a volunteer and board member who traveled to Nigeria almost immediately after we where ourselves devastated by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. USMMG has also expanded efforts to Jamaica. Delayed in our efforts due to COVID-19 but ready to hit the ground running once permitted to do so. And this too shall pass. We will be ready to resume God’s work when it does!

I have over 15 years experience of volunteering with medical missions in Africa, Jamaica and most recently Bahamas. As the medical mission coordinator of USMM, Inc. I’ve had the honor and privilege of coordinating efforts between volunteers, patients and local leaders to successfully provide much needed health care, medical supplies and medications to those greatly in need at no financial cost to the communities we serve. Our efforts are still in its infancy. However, we work together continuously to ensure our efforts are not in vain, but lay the foundation to ensure what we initiate is measurable, self-sustainable and has a life-long impact on the individuals we humbly serve. Continuing to do God’s work......through USMM, Inc.

I went on this medical mission to give of myself and fulfill one of my bucket list items. I came back with so much more! On reaching Nigeria, I experienced an indescribable feeling of vastness, like I had come home. It was unexpected but welcome. Mission work was an eye opener in that through interaction with the people, I learned major cultural differences. The respect they show to elders, the welcome we received, the awesome people, the sights, the food...... The people expressed gratitude for the medical services that the mission provided. This trip has enriched my life and I look on it with fond memories. I will definitely do it again.

This was my first Medical Mission in 2017 to Nigeria and it won’t be my last.. I learned that we are abundant in our needs and wants, and we have so much to offer and share.. We served a vast amount of people in a short time who were so grateful and appreciative of what we were doing.. We started from dawn until dusk using penlights and flashlights to see what meds we were looking for.. I was so energized and proud of my entire team spirit, and our ability to just keep going because we knew our time was short.. It was my pleasure to serve, and it is my hope and dream that our team will be able to do lots of work around the world

Last year I traveled with the team to Nigeria on a 10 day mission. The mission activities were well organized from continent to continent. The group served over 1200 persons in need of health care. The mission members traveled to two states within Nigeria to provide care. The mission was well organized, departing from NY to Nigeria and back. Mission volunteers were well taken care of and provided for througout the mission on the ground in Nigeria including secure travel while serving in rural, Nigeria, Oro State. The greatest benefit derived from this mission for me was being able to bring health care to people who truly needed the service and were happy to be provided with the high level of free service. I absolutely will be a returning member to serve with this nonprofit organization

I am a physician and have been wanting to do a medical mission for the past several years. In 2019 Ghana sponsored the year of return. What better way to return to the motherland than to bring my gifts as a physician. My experience with US Medical Mission (USMM) surpassed even my expectations. The awesome needs of the countryside of Nigeria are only surpassed by their gratitude to us, the participants in the mission. USMM is an excellent bridge bringing much-needed expertise and supplies to the deserving citizens of Nigeria. I'd greatly recommend this nonprofit and wish them continued success in their service to Nigeria and sponsoring medical missions in underserved communities throughout the world.
