I went on this medical mission to give of myself and fulfill one of my bucket list items. I came back with so much more! On reaching Nigeria, I experienced an indescribable feeling of vastness, like I had come home. It was unexpected but welcome. Mission work was an eye opener in that through interaction with the people, I learned major cultural differences. The respect they show to elders, the welcome we received, the awesome people, the sights, the food...... The people expressed gratitude for the medical services that the mission provided. This trip has enriched my life and I look on it with fond memories. I will definitely do it again.
