I love Sock It To Em Sock Campaign! I have been volunteering with the nonprofit since 2015 and appreciate all the work that they do for the community around them. They continue to inspire me and many others who volunteer with them to do good for the community. Sue, Phillis, and Tammie are so monumental in the growth of this organization and treat everyone with who they come into contact with respect and friendliness. Thank you to Sock It To Em for having such a monumental impact on my life!

I was introduced to "Sock It To Em" by a friend. I could not stop thinking about this program. I knew I wanted to be a Sock Ambassador. I read everything on the FaceBook page, including the photos and I knew I didn't just want to be a Sock Ambassador, I HAD to. This non-profit far exceeds my expectations of what one non-profit can accomplish. Imagine one pair of socks can transform a homeless person's life. I believe that the lives of the men, women, and children who participate in collecting socks have a transformative experience also. They see and feel what it's like to take part in making a difference in the Homelessness World.

I love this nonprofit and the people who run it. I donate, and for Christmas, I request donations from my friends rather than gifts for myself.

This nonprofit puts socks on people’s feet that are in need. If you are involved in a nonprofit in another state, they will find people in your state that will collect socks for you. They want to do what’s best for people all over.

Completed five middle school mini tour to make sure our young people have what they need as we move into Fall 2022!!!

Sock It To Em Campaign has help our Volunteer group reach thousands of men women and children to get desperately lifesaving socks into our Community. We made 200 bags for homeless Veterans. We've made hundreds of Blessing Bags for our homeless community in Southern Colorado and shared their bounty to the local homeless shelter and Mental Health organizations.

Without their support and generosity, many citizens would not be able to withstand the frigid temperatures in the winter. I've seen a gentleman use their socks as mittens on his hands to keep warm.

A woman from the Marshall Fires in Boulder Colorado was in tears when she received new socks for her family. She had been displaced and living in hotels with her family and said they each only had two pairs of socks for weeks.

Their commitment to our community is priceless. Their kindness and organization is not just handing out socks to those in need, but they are proving comfort and hope to many citizens that otherwise live with very little.

This organization continues to make a significant change in the lives of so many people, while proving many opportunities for everyone from City Council representatives to dedicated students to volunteer and make a difference.

Feeding Denver's Hungry has partnered with Sock it to Em for over 3 years. In that time, they have helped us provide countless pairs of socks to the unhoused community around Denver. They have always been willing to offer us socks anytime we needed them for our Hand Up events! This is a wonderful organization that does tremendous good in the world!

Came across Sock it to Em through some searching looking to donate socks. Working with them has been more pleasurable then I could describe. Our company now works with them regularly and we always look forward to it! They are truly a perfect example of what charities should be and how they should operate. If you're thinking of giving or working with Sock it to Em, your biggest mistake will be if you don't work with them!

These guys are wonderful. Yeah provided lots of socks for me to give out while I do outreach and also to share with other organizations that are doing outreach. Yeah I'm not only able to get soft people but we are also able to offer them any other resources. It's a great way to help build relationships.

I have actually helped the founder of this organization on several occasions. Susan Lee is completely dedicated to the success of the Soc It To ‘Em mission. Her unwavering commitment to this campaign is truly inspiring. Ms Lee, not only donates her time, but personal resources as well, including her own home. This is a special nonprofit, professionally audited with an accountant on staff to handle the day to day business and the task of fund raising. Anyone who has the honor and privilege of meeting Ms Lee, will readily appreciate and concur with these comments.

They set up a mechanism for my own non-profit to conduct and celebrate successful distributions of socks for homeless persons.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to the "Sock It To Em Sock Campaign" several years ago and I was immediately inspired to donate several pairs of socks to support those experiencing homelessness. I continued to follow Sock It To Em, watch their growth, and celebrate their successes.
In 2019 I became a "Sock Ambassador" for NYC and I ran 2 successful sock drives. I got to experience the process of sock collections and distributions firsthand! The Sock It To Em campaign has been wonderful a long time partner to the Denver Human Services GIVE Center, and has provided thousands upon thousands of warm socks to the men, women and children who come to the GIVE Center in need, all of whom are experiencing homelessness or housing instability and are in great need of emergency resources. We are so grateful to partner with Sock it To Em and to have the opportunity to distribute these essential items to Denver's most vulnerable individuals, families and children. Thank you for continuing to champion this important cause and providing new, warm socks for all in need!

When I worked with the Missionaries at New Hope Baptist Church, I enjoyed shorting and bagging the socks for donations. I enjoyed the gathering among all involved.

My small business donates to Sock It To Em every year for our chartiable initiative as a sock company because we truly believe in their mission and what they're doing for our Colorado community. Socks are so much more important for health and wellbeing than many realize. They take socks for all ages and it is so touching being able to see all the socks that are donated, especially for kids! We have been donating to Sock it to Em on behalf of our Social Enterprise for many years and have had nothing but an amazing experience. The Sock it to Em team actively donates to those in need during times of crisis when socks are needed the most. Sue is always a pleasure to work with and frequently sends us thank you notes after we make a donation which is very kind of her!

Grass roots started in Denver Co metro area by two women, which has blossomed into a nationally-reaching initiative to provide socks to the homeless. Socks are one of the most needed items for those with housing insecurity. The founders have strengthened their efforts with various partnerships, both with companies (Bombas socks, for one) and other non-profits whose constituents benefit from receiving socks (low income schools at all age levels, a women's prison alternative and rehab center, just to name a few.

All donations go 100% to the charity, as the directors do not take any fees, and have no administrative costs. I highly recommend this charity to anyone wanting to make a positive and direct impact on those experiencing housing insecurity or poverty.

This non- profit started with 2 passionate women wanting to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness. They nowhave collected and distributed close to 3/4 million pairs of socks. Socks, the #1 clothing need, make a tremendous difference not only for comfort, but for preventing many health problems. We found out that socks are the #1 clothing need of those experiencing homelessness and/or need through the Sock It To Em Sock Campaign. This program donates many socks to non profit organizations as well as those in need. The feet of the homeless have miles on them, therefore wearing out their tires. The Outreach Ministry at St. Mark Catholic Church wanted to contribute to those in need of socks. Our July 2021 fundraiser was a huge success due to the generous donations of our faith community. The Sock It To Em Sock Campaign puts new socks on the feet of men, women and children. Who knew that pairs of socks make a huge difference to those in need. Sock It To Em is a WONDERFUL nonprofit. I have seen first hand how many people that they help with a basic need of SOCKS!!! I am honored to know Sue & Phillis and to gladly donate to this BEAUTIFUL cause that touches so many lives.

During the past 15 years, I have been involved with a Women's Group, the CampExperienceTM Network that has raised $1 million cash and in-kind items for our Charity Partners. Sock It To Em Sock Campaign has been our Charity Partner for the past few years. I am so impressed with the Wonderful Work they do to help men, women and children experiencing homelessness and/or in need. They not only give socks out in Colorado; they have Ambassadors who serve 41 states across the country. They are now going global (i.e. Australia with Socks for Sydney). Their Co-founders Sue Lee and Phillis Shimamoto inspire others to get involved and do this Amazing Work of Love and Caring to help so many people. The truly extraordinary thing about them is that they do everything with very little overhead and through the pure Love and Generosity of individuals and other organizations and businesses. Sock It To Em Sock Campaign is one of the Best and Most Heartfelt efforts I have ever had the pleasure to experience. They have a way of getting everyone involved to join them on their crusade to help and serve so many people in need. To me Sue and Phillis exemplify what true giving from the heart is all about. They are so deserving for all they do for their community and beyond and clearly make the world and everyone they meet better through their loving and caring ways.

This is a wonderful program that provides an important piece of clothing for the homeless. AND there is almost no overhead costs. The women who run this non-profit give their time and energy with no desire for anything but helping others.

How heartwarming (andfoot!) it is to put a smile and warmth into someone’s day with a pair of socks! The kindness of everyone’s contributions and the hard work of Sue Lee and her volunteers spread joy and warmth to so many in need. This programs reach is great from schools to street corners to homeless shelters and even the aging. It is a privilege to work on such a worthwhile nonprofit.

I had no idea that socks are the #1 requested item in shelters until I met Sue and Phillis through their partnership with the CampExperience Network. Since meeting them, I have learned so much about the importance of socks not just for personal dignity but for health reasons. Sue and Phillis are so passionate about their work and strive to make conditions better for those experiencing homelessness. My daughter decided to raise money and collect socks for the Sock It To 'Em sock campaign after I told her about the organization. We will be volunteering and donating with this nonprofit for many years to come!

I love working with this wonderful non profit! “Sock it to Em” provides a high demand necessity to those less fortunate around the Denver metro area. Most people don’t realize how important having a warm pair of socks is! The women that run this organization are kind, loving, strong woman and it’s a great thing to support!

Amazing charity, with virtually no money/donation going to overhead. This was started by a woman who literally had a vision to provide socks to the homeless. A simple idea, however, with the leadership of the two women now organizing, it has gone viral.
These ladies work tirelessly to get out the message of how important and uplifting a new, clean pair of socks can be for someone who is homeless, regardless of age or gender. Sue and Phyllis are extraordinary in their compassion and dedication. From what started as a small seed, they now have a charity that has spread across the country.

Second Chance Center which helps formerly incarcerated persons has received the gift of socks many time from this amazing organization. I know our clients are grateful for warm and new socks. I serve on the board of Sox Place, a teen drop-in shelter in Denver. We are so appreciative of the socks given to Sox Place to provide socks to the homeless teens in Denver. The Sock it To Em Sock Campaign is a reflection of the kindness and community here in Denver and the contribution it has been to Sox Place has been a blessing.

I have been assisting the organization for the past few months and have been so impressed with the impact that they have made and the passion they have to continue to get socks to those who need them!

This best kept secret has so much impact - we need to get the word out! It doesn't take much to show someone you care when you donate socks. It's the most asked for, but least donated item in shelters. The passion behind the leader in Colorado is touching and motivating.

The Sock It Too Em Sock campaign has helped so many people in our community! They work hard to assure their mission is carried out to as many communities as possible and have created an immense circle of people helping other people. The Founders, Sue and Phillis, are committed to helping all people in our communities in many ways. By working hard to get donations and providing socks to those in need, they have also grown the spirit of giving and caring throughout our communities.

Being an advocate for the homeless.. here in California...I often cook at home and drive to different locations,(streets,bridges, stores, to abandoned vehicles, etc,) and feed them. Along with their food..I also pass out socks. Wow, your would think they have struck gold!! They are so happy to recieve them. Men women and children!! So many of the adults have sores or blisters on their feet..an some feet are so swollen. The socks are extremely helpful to them. One little girl ask for can I give her grandmother e pair because she gave her only socks to her and her sister. And could I please give her dad an extra pair...because he walks everyday to try to find work..and it's cold and his socks have so many holes. This kid was about 6yrs old. It brought me to tears. Another little girl was walking with her mom..and when I handed the mom a plate of food...then the socks...thr little girl..about 3yrs old...sat down right there on the the sidewalk...and immediately put the socks on. Thanks so much for sock it...and their dedication to and usefulness. Sock it really makes a differnce.

My OB/Gyn office has collected socks for Sock It to Em sock campaign since 2012. The founders, Sue and Phillis, are phenomenal people. They have tirelessly built this 501c3 across 40 states. They have gathered and distributed over 340,000 pairs of socks, making thousands of happy feet.

Phillis and Sue have worked so hard to create and grow this multi-state organization. Their persistence and dedication are inspiring. I wish them continued success as they continue to grow and expand and touch even more lives. I highly recommend contributing to this charity.

Working with Phyllis and Sue was great. They helped the Denver Bronco Alumni Association donate hundreds of pairs of socks to the Denver Public School Futures Program.

The Socks Campaign is a much needed service that fills a void amongst the homeless and those with little money to buy clothing for themselves or their children. Knowing the organization's founder is a blessing itself. To see how far and how quickly Sock It To 'Em has impacted the local and now national environment is nothing short of miraculous. Here you have two amazing women who saw a critical need and jumped on it. I am happy and honored to be just a small part of the healing this organization brings.

Giving back always feels good. With the Sock it to em campaign, it is the easiest and most fun way to help others in need.
