I had no idea that socks are the #1 requested item in shelters until I met Sue and Phillis through their partnership with the CampExperience Network. Since meeting them, I have learned so much about the importance of socks not just for personal dignity but for health reasons. Sue and Phillis are so passionate about their work and strive to make conditions better for those experiencing homelessness. My daughter decided to raise money and collect socks for the Sock It To 'Em sock campaign after I told her about the organization. We will be volunteering and donating with this nonprofit for many years to come!
