Mission: Triform enterprises operates a residential therapeutic and vocational training community for young adults with disabilities. Its mission is to build a vital community life that offers residents the possibility for healing, growth and self-development. Triform bases its work on the recognition of the spiritual integrity of the individual, regardless of ability. Triform aims to provide residents with dignified, purposeful work and work training; warm and supportive human relationships; challenging yet accessible adult education options; and a vibrant social and cultural life.
Programs: Residential program includes the costs directly related to the care of the physically and mentally challenged residents of the community and the co-workers who volunteer their services to assist in the operation of the workshops, farm and garden and other operations of the organization.
triform camphill community's day habilitation program is certified by the new york state office for people with developmental disabilities. The costs of triform's program cover a quality curriculum which focuses upon young adults (18-25) as he or she emerges from the teenage years into full adulthood. Reflecting this emergence, the curriculum provides experiences rotating through eight vocational areas in the community (weavery, farm, garden, bakery, estate, forestry, home economics and pottery) as well as basis academics, physical movement, cultural arts, home life skills, crafts, social skills, artistic development and self knowledge. Transportation to and from triform is also provided to all day habilitation participants.
