I love being a member of the Service League of Green Bay. This women-volunteer ran organization has many different initiatives, and approximately 30 members. Our biggest project is the Back to School Store which provides a new outfit, shoes, socks, underwear and school supplies to 1,500 elementary aged, under-privileged students in Green Bay, and 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies to Middle School students in need.
Among the Back to School Store, we have Basics for Babies, Teens for Independent Living, Basic Necessities, and take part in Giving Tree each Christmas. We provide money to Encompass Childcare for their weekend food program and only have one main fundraiser each year to support these projects.
