I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2021. Had a left breast mastectomy of August 2021 & radiation therapy ended in February 2022. I am currently in hormone based chemotherapy (injections). While going through treatment my significant other cheated on me and was verbally & emotionally abusive which led to a breakup. My care package literally saved my life… it came on a day that I had decided to commit suicide. It was filled with encouragement, love & hope. It made me want to continue on but not just continue, it made me want to fight and it was comforting to know that I wasn’t alone! I truly thank God for Fight Club and for all they do. Cancer can be scary at times but knowing that others care makes it so much better! Many blessings & thank you!
When I was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 I received a package that meant a great deal to me. That package was from Fight Club Survivors. I’ve sent packages myself and donate every chance I get. They make a difference in many cancer patients lives. I appreciate all they do and all the hard work they put it to help others. God Bless Them

After I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 29, I felt extremely alone and afraid of what was about to come next. I received a package from Fight Club Suvivor at the perfect time- the items in the box were so special, and knowing I was now part of a community of people cheering me on was even better. I am 49 year old mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and fiancé to the best people in my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022. Had a double mastectomy in June 2022. And am currently awaiting my onco score for possibly chemo and 5 years worth of hormone blockers. I have scars and feel like I have been through a battle. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to get the Fight Club Survivor’s care package. It was filled with fabulous little heartfelt gems. It truly made my day. I’m times of sorrow, it made my day! My name is Jeanne Wokurka. I am the Founder of FCS. Due to my own journey with breast cancer, not once, but twice, I chose to create this organization to be here for others. I knew how scary and lonely you can feel at times.
Our org has truly blossomed into what we are today thanks to all of those we've listened to, and those we've helped, especially those who have supported us thru the year. It is because of all of you, we are who we are today. Forever grateful to all of you.
This is a great charity ran by a great person. She is helpful with sending out care packages and runs a great Facebook page with great articles and supportive women. It's a great page for women going though and have been though breast cancer.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, everything in my life changed. I felt lost, hopeless, scared, confused, and alone. I was overwhelmed with having to make medical decisions I knew nothing about, I was scared I was doing the wrong thing, I was constantly drowning in worry- and one day I got a package in the mail from Fight Club Survivor. It contained items that not only uplifted me, but reminded me that I was NOT alone and that I had people to fight for and people I could lean on and reach out to for support. Now, even post "active" treatment, FCS continues to be a beacon of light as I struggle through the new normal. "The after", as I call it. Between still looking at my items from my package, to wearing my beautiful jewelry, to reading the inspirational things posted and chatting with other warriors, I am so thankful to have FCS and Jeanne in my life!!

My sweet sweet friend Miss Karen. I told Jeanne about her fight with Ovarian cancer for 12 years. I know it is not breast cancer, but Jeanne helped me figure out the perfect care package for her. It meant the world to me. Miss Karen LOVED it!

I was in my 30's when i found my lump i knew it was cancer immediately when i felt it the first time which in know sounds crazy but i did!! My family tried to talk me down it didnt work? Then i put off going to get it checked for a year? Please my ladies and men don't ever do that!!! Because i waited i had to have a double mastectomy and a yea4 and half of chemo!! In that time i need so much that i couldnt afford grants are so very important to our people!! I needed food and help i was a single parent i could barely get up to do anything so i really hope for these grants for people like me if i wouldve helped that entire process would've easier!!! I had to drive myself i couldn't take care of my kids which made me alone. I had too send them to live with their dad till i got better!!! I am a fighter and kicked cancers a$$!!! Please my people NEVER wait i know its scary sooner the better!!!These grants are super important for single parents like me struggling financially and alone!!!!
This is the best program ever ! I’ve never had cancer but what I hear is : Other groups collect money for breast cancer all the time ! But the people With Cancer and needs Never Ever see it!!!! Fight club Survivor cares about each and every woman! They send care packages to them!! And encourage them along the way . Wonderful to be a part of this
