When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, everything in my life changed. I felt lost, hopeless, scared, confused, and alone. I was overwhelmed with having to make medical decisions I knew nothing about, I was scared I was doing the wrong thing, I was constantly drowning in worry- and one day I got a package in the mail from Fight Club Survivor. It contained items that not only uplifted me, but reminded me that I was NOT alone and that I had people to fight for and people I could lean on and reach out to for support. Now, even post "active" treatment, FCS continues to be a beacon of light as I struggle through the new normal. "The after", as I call it. Between still looking at my items from my package, to wearing my beautiful jewelry, to reading the inspirational things posted and chatting with other warriors, I am so thankful to have FCS and Jeanne in my life!!
