It Takes Two, Inc. is a life changing organization! Ms. Kemp, the founder, has went above and beyond for my family and I! I applied for the program as a Sophomore in high school, with no way to get uniforms and school supplies, from there, it has been an encouraging and uplifting relationship all the way into my Master’s program! Ms. Kemp and the It Takes Two family supported me in my transition to college from high school as a first generation college student, as well as throughout my 3.5 years in undergrad! It Takes Two was even there for me, when I needed to Apply to Grad School and take my GRE entrance exams! I am so thankful for the impact Ms. Kemp and It Takes Two has made on my life. I am even inspired to start my own nonprofit in my local area! It Takes Two, Inc. is more than a nonprofit, It’s a life changing blessing for entire families!

It takes two is great. I highly recommend to any young person to find themselves. My daughter needed this to push her in finding her passion,create a business,and inspire others to pursue there dreams as well.
My son and I have been affiliated with it takes two for many years now. What drew me to the organization is the desire to serve not just young people but young males. Jaemellah and I shared a common situation we were both single moms raising young black males. My son and I have gained many experiences through the hard work and dedication of Ms. Jaemellah Kemp. She has awarded us the opportunity to begin exploring further education ahead of time by attending college tours and attending financial aid workshops to explore financial options. She has provided rewarding volunteer opportunities such as feeding the homeless and stuffing backpacks for children to go back to school. She has allowed young adults to have a voice and to step out of their comfort zones and do things they would not ordinarily do. We have participated in seminars preparing the children for each grade level transition and the obstacles they may face as they transition. Ms. Jaemellah has been passionate and intentional about following through with what she says and executing her goals and objectives beyond my expectations. Her drive and dedication to the young men and women she serves is incomparable to anything I’ve experienced. She is full of ideas, innovative and creative in her approach with working with her young adults. She gets on a level with the young people that makes them feel valued appreciated and heard. Her patience and ability to connect are what I believe helps her to be so successful in what she does. It is my hope that her non profit continues to expand and that many more people get to experience the Jaemellah I have been so blessed to know and work alongside. She has truly instilled many great values in my son that I alone could not have done as a single parent. Her organization is one I am proud and confident to call one of the best I know. She provides shirts for each child that states “greatness is in my DNA” and she has truly helped each child understand and live in that truth.

Society is always changing and because of this, it is very important to ensure that we, as a community, should be positive, uplifting and most of all, supportive to our youth. As an advocate in the world of Mental Health, today's youth are raised in more single parent homes, foster homes, extended family homes and many times, homeless! These Risk Factors in life can lead a youth in many directions and not all of them are good. It Takes Two, Inc and the many programs they provide to youth, can provide that one PUSH of support, that can make a life changing decision for youth, who have lost or is losing HOPE in tomorrow. It Takes Two, Inc works hard, to include working with other organizations, in a joint effort to help create and provide a better tomorrow, for all youth.

I have been following with it takes two for a while and they are amazing i love the give back to the kids especially the school supplies and back packs. They are so personal i love what they do with the scholarship program. My son has learned so much from the program
