Great Organization. Helped a lot to the families that they need it. I wish there were more organization like this. I know that they made huge different in our lifes when they accepted my son. I have been with them more than 4 years. I like the administration and how they run the organization. The staff are knowledgable and trained. My highs regard to Ms. Susan Ingram. Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Community Support Services, Inc. is committed to the provision of quality community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Individuals will be supported in accordance with their needs in school, work, home and the community. Services to be provided may include, but are not limited to, the following: job development; job coaching; transportation; money management; recreational skill developmental; instruction and supervision in the home; and behavior management. Services are designed by the individual, the individual's family, and others who know the individual well. Services are rendered in the environments in which the individual desires to live, work, recreate or purse educational goals. Services are fashioned to support each individual to pursue his/her own self-directed life goals.
Target demographics: Children and adults with autism and other developmental delays living in the Montgomery County, MD area.
Geographic areas served: Montgomery County, MD
Programs: Operate community based, non-segregated, non-sheltered, vocational, residential and social programs and services for people with developmental disabilities.
