Greater Kingdom International has a range of programs for the elderly, for daily feeding of the homeless, educational, sports, and driving training programs, and much more. It serves an estimated four hundred Post-Franklin residents each day through onsite and neighborhood outreach efforts. All from one floor of the former school, due to lack of elevator access to two large additional floors, which could expand services to the elderly and disabled, as required by federal mandate.
Certainly! Here's a powerful statement you can use to describe Greater Kingdom International (GKI) for your nonprofit review:
My Experience with Greater Kingdom International (GKI):
Greater Kingdom International is more than just a nonprofit; it's a transformative force in the community. From the moment I became involved, I witnessed firsthand the organization's unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and families, especially those most vulnerable. Whether through afterschool care programs for low-income families, initiatives to prevent child abuse, or services aimed at fostering independence for seniors, GKI works tirelessly to meet real needs.
What sets GKI apart is its holistic approach to service. By addressing critical issues such as homelessness, hunger, transportation, and education, GKI supports individuals' day-to-day survival and promotes long-term self-sufficiency. Their programs are designed to uplift the entire community, offering dignity and opportunity through thoughtful solutions.
The leadership at GKI, headed by Dr. Tino Smith, embodies vision and integrity. Their team's fervor for creating a lasting impact is palpable in all their endeavors—from teaming up with local schools and businesses to securing grants that benefit underserved populations. GKI has evolved into a symbol of hope and opportunity, consistently proving that it flourishes when a community works together.
Greater Kingdom International is a powerful and inspiring choice if you're looking to support or engage with an organization that makes measurable, meaningful change.
A wonderful organization that's a true asset to the community. My oldest daughter, niece, nephew, and many other loved ones has enjoyed and learned how to be safe and smart drivers through their drivers training program. Our family has enjoyed renting out space in their building to celebrate one of my daughter's birthdays. The senior and youth programs are a big hit and a plus to the community too. Keep up the amazing work and extending excellent service to the community.
I am very fortunate to play a minor role in this organization. There are programs for the young as well as the elderly. For the poor, and the hungry. Bishop, Tino Smith along with his family set a great example for us to follow. The people who work there are very caring and efficient. We see the turmoil that Bishop faces on a daily basis. He never gets dismayed because his heart and faith are with the lord. He is our role model, employer as well as our great friend. I'm blessed to be a part of this and to see all of his accomplishments done, and yet to come. It's an honor to be a part of this.

The measure of a great non-profit is by its service to the community in which it serves. Greater Kingdom International has led with integrity, fiscal responsibility, and selfless service towards bettering the lives of all people regardless of who they are or their socioeconomic status. Improving one's quality of life has been at the core belief of Greater Kingdom International and one could only hope they will be around for generations to come.
Dr. Smith and his team have built a hub for all of the things that are so often barriers to successful living. Do you need financial literacy and business training? They do that. Do you need job skill training? They do that. Do you need to be connected with health care and other community resources? They do that. Physical fitness opportunities for all ages and ability levels? They offer that. Spiritual growth and guidance? That’s why they exist. The list could go on and on. I believe in the work and ministry of Kingdom Builders, and I believe in the work and ministry of Dr. Smith.
