Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Engineering, Engineering & Technology, Technology
Mission: The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community."
Results: Year after year, NSBE’s impact is felt on every level. We currently partner with school districts in Colorado to offer mentorship and STEM enlightenment. Our K 12 Programs (PCI) are the first tier of our STEM pipeline support. We engage, expose and mentor K-12 students through our local programs. We provide internship options for pre-college students through our business partners. Our volunteers work to assist the less fortunate in our community through the local food bank. Professionals who lead every day can attest to the benefits of the organization. We are leaders in developing the STEM pipeline, collegiate Engineering Retention, and corporate Diversity and Inclusion.
Geographic areas served: Colorado Metro Area
Programs: Professional development, Talent Sourcing, Mentoring, Corporate Internships, and Scholarship programs for pre-college and college STEM students.
