Mission: Setting up organizations for waste management
Results: We have successfully completed a pilot composting plant in Bokaro Steel City, in east India, as well as initiated a complete integrated solid waste management system run by waste pickers in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
Target demographics: Waste pickers in India and across the world
Direct beneficiaries per year: Until 2012 we aim to have given over 1000 waste pickers a sustainable livelihood and path out of poverty.
Programs: Setting up organization to establish a charitable venture to educate the public about waste management and improve management in developing countries
