Mission:
Unlimited Choices, Inc. was founded to deal with the shortage of affordable, accessible housing for low, fixed income people with disabilities. The consequence of this shortage is that the people who cannot find suitable housing are forced into nursing homes or adult foster homes at a great expense to the county and state. An adult living in one of these institutional settings has a dependent quality of life and almost no hope of employment or involvement in community activities. This circumstance of living without hope can be remedied by making modest modifications to homes and enabling people to move out of institutions and live independently.
