Reviews for Stop Animal Exploitation NOW!

SAEN is an incredible organization that works tirelessly to advocate for animals in laboratories. I have seen first-hand the countless hours the directors and volunteers dedicate to this cause that is so near to their hearts. Unlike some of the bigger nonprofits, SAEN is more concerned with ending animal experimentation and changing the lived realities of animals trapped in labs than they are with marketing their brand. If you donate to SAEN (time and/or money), you can be certain that your donation is really making a difference. I have seen SAEN's efforts create real change and progress -- SAEN's campaigns are direct, well-researched, well-organized, and largely successful. The organization's goal (as I understand it) is to end animal experimentation -- Because SAEN is out there fighting on the front lines, I believe that this is a real possibility. I have the utmost respect for SAEN, its directors, and its campaigns. SAEN is an honest, transparent, and worthy nonprofit, and a fighting force to combat a horrific industry.

SAEN has been in the vanguard for the animals for many years. My experience with them has shown a very small group of people with impeccable integrity. Their effect on championing change in the area of animal experimentation far out sizes the size of the organization. In essence, two people have accomplished more year to year than larger organizations with budgets of millions in dollars. I would dare say that they are so effective that at times others have taken credit for what they have accomplished to do no more than steal the thunder that SAEN has done.

This is one non-profit that you and I can absolutely feel confident in investing in. While they do not have the budget to have a large media megaphone you can be assured that they do very good work and get more accomplished that any other two or three organization combine do in this field.

The animals have NO credit card BUT I can use mine to show that SAEN knows the way to go to make a difference in our world NOW and SAEN does just that - AND HOW! SAEN has 100% of my support and gratitude for their tireless dedication to tackle the grueling issue of animal experimentation.

I first came into contact with the people of SAEN about seven years ago at an animal rights conference. Realizing that we happen to live in the same state, we've had occasion to attend different events relating to the care of animals, and I've visited their offices, as well.

I can honestly say that they are 100% dedicated to the animals. Nearly every waking moment is spent researching and exposing the atrocities committed in the name of science. Without their dedication and resulting publicity, the animals who are victimized by these companies, labs, and universities would have no hope of freedom.

Our government requires that records be filed by these labs revealing the deaths and incidents of neglect. If it weren't for the people at SAEN, those records would gather dust in a file somewhere. SAEN shines the light at the end of the tunnel for the animals by showing the government its own records of deaths and neglect, demanding the requisite fines, and making sure that the public in general is informed, as well. Labs with continuous records of abuse and neglect have been shut down, all because of the hard work and dedication of SAEN.

It's not an easy thing to do, reading of the horrible things done to animals. But it's something that must be done and the people at SAEN are doing a wonderful job of it.

This group of dedicated people is second to none in its efforts to bring awareness and create change. Until I began to read their articles, I really had no idea of just what went on behind those lab walls. They work tirelessly to prevent the offenders from continuing their atrocities by bringing to light the offenses that are all documented in official records. SAEN acts upon the documented facts and brings it to the media and the rest of us, and then follows through to demand changes. Imagine having to dig through the thousands of documents that are required to be kept by labs and read of the horrors that people call "science," day in and day out. Without SAEN's work, these incidents would just continue to be statistics. But SAEN won't let the labs or our government forget that these are sentient beings who are being legally and illegally abused. Rules, as weak as they are, must be followed and labs must be held accountable. Thankfully, SAEN is right there doing it for us.

SAEN is a unique organization in that it focuses solely on animal experimentation. Effectively honing all of their resources, attention and energies onto one issue keeps them driven and determined to make concrete changes now. SAEN is doing so much to expose abuses and educate people on the needless cruelty on this issue. If interested in seeing animal experimentation end, then please support this front runner of an organization as SAEN is well worth supporting.

SAEN is a very effective organization fighting for the animals imprisoned in labs. I really like this group because they only work on one issue which I feel makes them more effective as all of their resources are focused on a single target. I started donating to them after having met them at a conference. Since then I have participated in some of their annual events, World Week and Primate Liberation Week, that SAEN organizes each year after they put me in touch with a local coordinator in my area. I would highly recommend SAEN as they are a very dedicated and professional group that gets a lot accomplished on a small budget.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

want them to have more resources so that they could be even more effective!

Still, one of the premier organizations out there due to their in-depth and tenacious investigations of labs involved in animal research. Saw their staff speak at AR2014 and was very impressed with their knowledge and willingness to share so to educate everyone on the undue suffering endured by animals and for the wastefulness of taxpayers' money on antiquated "science". Long live, SAEN!

SAEN is one of the most dedicated organizations out there. I love that they are single-issue oriented - to put an end to animal experimentation. I have heard their staff speak at the AR conferences and have been impressed with their knowledge and their willingness to share their expertise with fellow activists to work professionally on the vivisection issue. I also have personally participated in various annual events coordinated by SAEN to bring to light the horrors and fallacies of animal experimentation to the general public. If you want to work on the vivisection issue, get to know the folks at SAEN!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

want them to get more funding so that they could bring about even greater change for animals imprisoned in labs!

Considering that SAEN is pretty much run by two people, the things they've done is impressive. I think of Michael as a walking encyclopedia in his field. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone more dedicated and dogged in pursuit of justice for animals in laboratories.

The team at Stop Animal Exploitation Now! is one of the most dedicated groups of people I have met. They speak effectively and loudly for a terribly underrepresented group of animals, those who are imprisoned in animal testing facilities. SAEN also has a solid record of shutting down or causing the authorities to impose heavy fines on these facilities for animal abuse.

Wow, this is SAEN's 20th anniversary this year, and with each passing year we are continually evolving our approach in fighting the exploitation of animals imprisoned in labs. Our recent successes speak volumes for SAEN has forever closed seven labs/protocols in the last four years, initiated over four dozen labs being successfully prosecuted by the USDA in the last 2 1/2 years, and consistently garners over a hundred media stories annually exposing the negligence and ineptitude of these heinous facilities forever tarnishing their reputations in the eyes of the general public. Stay tuned for we have only just begun to fight!

SAEN is smokin' hot with SIX facilities/programs closed in FOUR years! The latest being University of Oklahoma's baboon research and breeding program scheduled to close in the coming months all due to SAEN's investigative prowess and media expertise! The other five animal testing programs closed due to SAEN are Harvard Med School's primate center, Cimcool, primate testing at both Wooster College and Penn State Med School, and another primate protocol, undisclosed due to confidentially in exchange for the primates to be retired to a sanctuary. I am very proud to be associated with this effective organization that runs on a small budget with a dedicated staff. Looking forward to many more successful years of effective campaigning to end animal experimentation NOW, not in 100 years!

After being educated in a research setting and witnessing the suffering of innocent animals in labs firsthand, I vowed from that day forward to make a difference by working until all of the cages are empty! In 1996, along with my wife, Karen, I co-founded SAEN - Stop Animal Exploitation Now!, a national non-profit animal advocacy organization dedicated to the rights of all animals concentrating our focus on eliminating the use of animals in experimentation. I invite everyone to educate yourself to be a voice for the animals imprisoned in labs right now and learn how our tax money pays for this torture - check our website (www.saenonline.org) and "like" us on Facebook to educate yourself, get involved, and keep up on our many campaigns.

SAEN is making a true concrete difference for animals in labs right now. This group closes and prosecutes labs, and places former lab victims in sanctuaries.
