My beloved Bisou (certified therapy dog) and I met through a friend who was helping me during a dark period of loss and depression in my life. I am a mental health/addictions professional and soon recognized his talents and skills in reaching out to those suffering from disorders of emotion and spirit. We pursued certification at an early age through recommendation of a friend and associate and soon Bisou became a fixture at my place of employment. He and I so enjoyed the service provided and the support and encouragement offered by Share-A-Pet that my acceptance of the offer to be more involved in the organization was a no brainer. In the years that I have been affiliated with the organization I have met countless numbers of dedicated furry angels and their human partners who share a passion and compassion for bringing the warmth and unconditional love of a dog into the lives of others.
