Odwin Learning Center, Inc. Overview
ODWIN's philosophy, in the words of its founder, Mary F. Malone, RN: "There is no more powerful antidote to racism and sexism than well-educated, professionally prepared people." In 1964, ODWIN was begun to assist those traditionally underrepresented: women, people of color, ethnic minorities, poor people with inadequate prior education, to develop a firm educational foundation and attain not just acceptance into college but successful completion, not just a better job but a profession. Since then, ODWIN has helped over 3,100 people to achieve that goal, principally in the health care and education professions. Annually, approximately 90% of ODWIN's graduates succeed in college programs, graduate and enter the professions they had set as their goals.

Cannot understand how the program teaches courses that students will have to take again when they enroll into a college or university. Attended an orientation session. Not happy...
