Mission:

The texas brigades mission is to educate and empower youths with leadership skills and knowledge in wildlife, fisheries, and land stewardship to become conservation ambassadors for a sustained natural resource legacy.

Programs:

The bobwhite brigade hosted 7 summer camps for approximately 153 youth, ages 13-17, and then works with them throughout the year to encourage development and use of life skills (e. G. , leadership, public speaking) and dissemination of wildlife and natural resource management information.

the brigade also offers scholarships to graduates who subsequently enroll in an institution of higher education.

the brigade also offers an advanced leadership development program for those brigade graduates who wish to further hone their leadership skills and further their knowledge of wildlife and natural resources.
