Review for Diversity Is Victory Among Sisters with Soldiers of Life, Inc (DIVAS with SOL), Oakland, CA, USA
A community is only as strong as the members who support it. DIVAS with SOL is an organization that shows our community at its best and strongest. From holiday food baskets to families that need assistance to motivational guidance for young women through mentorship this organization showcases exemplary support for a population that often falls through society's cracks, the young and impressionable. The organization need MORE community support and more funding because its services are invaluable. The events, Christmas photos, joyful movie celebrations with elves and higher education planning for youth, are marked for the sheer enthusiasm shown by participants and volunteers alike. This is an organization worth modeling and funding.
