Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
Where do I start-when I found out I had non hodgkins lymphoma---I was in shock--a friend suggested I talk to someone--We Spark was highly recommended---I emailed over there and within minutes Bonnie called me back--set up an appointment for the next day--she got me focused and was firm about me signing up for everything...I was so overwelmed with kindness that I remember saying what can I do for WE SPARK?...she said "don't do nothing, just take care of yourself...WE SPARK was my angel BIG TIME!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
endless ways. I think and do my day to day so different now. The knowledge and insight I've received is life changing. The staff is top notch. There heart is huge.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
add a dance class,a cooking class and maybe do day trips.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Muriel, the spirtual counselor, the gi gong guy, the yoga instructors, the guest speakers...TBH--I've enjoyed 99% of everything....
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
perfect, kind, giving, patient, good huggers!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
do weekend retreats, be able to go into communities that need cancer support
Ways to make it better...
I can have a one on one every single day....so give donations so more can be offered.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
to have more room and more instructors.
One thing I'd also say is that...
WE SPARK is so heeling emotionally, creatively.....for me, I could not have got through my treatment without them. It's a very special, heeling magicial place...no place like it.
