Since meeting Tara and learning more about her non-profit, I have gone to two events for DIVAS with SOL. Tara definitely motivates the young people to feel good about giving their very best. I was also impressed on how engaged the parents and volunteers were. This is definitely not a place where the kids are dropped off. The parents were there cheering all the kids on. The volunteers were available, assisting without taking away from the kids. Very positive environment whose focus is definitely about cultivating high self-esteem in our boys and girls. These experiences will hopefully impact these kids to become positive adults in our communities and continue the cycle of giving back to the next generation.
