Review for NNY Autism Foundation Inc, Watertown, NY, USA
I am afraid of where we would be today without the wonderful people of the NNY Autism Foundation. Not only did these people know what they were doing for a medical treatment for children, they go out of their way to answer questions, and just be there for me when I was having a tough time. Today my child is doing so well and I know there is no way this could have happened without them!
The people working in this office take low pay or barely any pay at all in order to help other families get help for their children. The director fundraises regularly to support the Foundation and educate families and healthcare professionals in the area about Autism as a Disease Process and does this with the help of the Foundation. The NNY Autism Foundation not only strives to help families one at a time, but also aims to change the way Autism is perceived and treated by educating legislators, healthcare professionals, and parents about the medical problems at the root of this disabling disease.
