Review for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas Inc, Austin, TX, USA
I was an intern at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Austin for four months and I could not have asked for a better place to work! Everyone was so welcoming and the fun environment felt like one big family. Even though I was there to help them out, they went out of their way to help me by allowing me to take on many fun projects as well as connecting me to as many people as possible.
The most exciting part about working at RMHC Austin was seeing firsthand how their warm and welcoming attitude carried over to all of the visiting families. Through such dedication, they truly made the House feel like a home away from home, and I am so grateful to RMHC and the wonderful experiences they gave me!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Sometimes RMHC has to turn away people if they do not live far enough away from the House. Although the new House is big and beautiful, there is still limited space since there are so many families in need. While this rule makes sense geographically and financially, it was difficult turning people away.
