The Community in Schools program is a valuable asset in our community. The program has gone above and beyond to assure that our children needs are met. Most importantly, the program have helped some of our kids who were homeless get off the streets and find somewhere to lay their heads at night so that they may be able to come to school and focus on success instead of failure. One example of their dedication to serve our children is that they have been at the forefront in providing tremendous help for families whose homes burned down; helping each family get back on track in just a matter of weeks. I feel that this program is a necessity because without it many of our children may not have a place to go as an outlet from stress and use them as a means for support and guidance that they may not be receiving at home or around the campus.
