Review for Urban Workshop NYC, Inc., Brooklyn, NY, USA
These guys work with the most difficult students in the school. On any given day they have everything from 6th graders to HS seniors and teach them math, carpentry and most importantly how to be a human and interact with the world in a positive way.

affording the opportunity for academic success to students that have struggled immensely in school. The idea of taking the most challenging students in the school and teaching them math and communication skills through the program is nothing short of amazing. A truly unique and inspiring program that should be used as a model for schools around the country.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
find ways to allow a larger contingency of Lyons students to participate in it. I think it would be beneficial to all students as they learn to apply various mathematical concepts, not just those who are struggling in the classroom. URBAN FOR EVERYONE!!!!
